Step by Step

Step 1

Create Your Access Virtual Account

When you click 'See a Clinician' with Access Virtual, you will be asked to sign in. For covered visits, you will also need your Health Care Card number. All information is encrypted and securely stored in Canadian data centres.

Step 2

Describe Your Symptoms

Tell us how you are feeling and any other important information such as medications you are taking or allergies you have. You can also attach photos and other files if necessary.

Step 3

Connect with a Clinician

When you start your visit, you are connected to a Care Coordinator who will answer any questions you may have. The Care Coordinator will connect you to the Clinician for your visit.

Step 4

Review Your Care Plan

When your visit with the clinician is complete, you can review the care plan the clinician has created for you. Your Care Coordinator is still available to assist you in booking a follow-up, a referral to a specialist, sending any prescriptions to your local pharmacy or a partner pharmacy for free delivery, labs or other paperwork, and answering any questions you may have.
